Senior Manager, AI Architecture

Job description:

The Senior Manager, AI Architecture and Development will be responsible for leading the architecture design and establishing repeatable patterns for scalable development. This role will coordinate with external development teams to build cloud-native AI solutions and ensure that solutions built enterprise-wide conform to enterprise architecture standards.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify AI opportunities.
• Architect scalable and innovative AI solutions that drive business value.
• Oversee the implementation of AI solutions, including data ingestion, preprocessing, modeling, deployment, and monitoring.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in AI technologies.

What you need:

• 10+ years of experience with cloud development in Azure environments, CI/CD pipelines, MLOps, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• Microsoft (or other relevant) certifications are a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing cloud infrastructure, particularly in Azure environments, including direct experience with Azure Databricks for big data processing and AI/ML integrations
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation to manage and provision resources through code
• Strong background in implementing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Experienced in setting up and managing monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor to ensure optimal performance and reliability of deployed applications and infrastructure
• Knowledgeable in integrating DevOps and MLOps methodologies to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Vision, Azure Language, and Azure OpenAI Service.
• Proven track record of managing AI operations in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of AI governance and compliance with global regulations.
